The PUBG Mobile K2 Gamer Pakistan Universities Showdown 2023-24 has successfully concluded its Qualifiers round, marking the beginning of the Intra Zone Stages. The PUBG Mobile event is Organized by Gamer Pakistan Inc & K2 Gamer Pakistan companies. The tournament witnessed active participation from both online and LAN events, involving universities from different regions of Pakistan. The event showcased the growing enthusiasm and talent within the gaming community of university students.

Qualifiers Round Highlights:

Online Registrations: Over 400 teams registered for the online qualifiers, reflecting a significant interest in the tournament.

LAN Events: Four LAN events were organized at prominent universities, including Salim Habib University Karachi, Islamia College Quetta, University of Faisalabad TUF, and University of Management & Technology UMT Lahore. More than 100 teams participated in these LAN events.

Participation: A total of 310 teams competed in the online qualifiers, and 50 teams showcased their skills in the LAN events.

Streaming: All matches were live-streamed on the K2Gamer Pakistan YouTube channel, providing a wider audience with the opportunity to witness the intense gaming action.

Intra Conferences and Zones:

Intra Conferences: After the completion of the Qualifiers, 128 teams qualified for the Intra Zones, categorized into four zones – East, West, North, and South.

East Zone: The first Intra Zones will commence online on January 26, starting with the East Zone. This zone includes teams from the Mid East Conference, Lahore West Conference, Lahore East Conference, and Lahore South Conference, totaling 32 teams.

West Zone: The West Zone comprises teams from the MIDWEST Conference, Peshawar WEST Conference, Peshawar Eastern Conference, and South Western Conference.

North Zone: Teams from the EASTERN Capital Conference, North West Conference, Western Capital Conference, and the North Eastern Conference form the North Zone.

South Zone: The South Zone consists of teams from SouthEastern Conference, BIG Southern Conference, GSC, and MID Southern Conference.

Prizes and Rewards:

Cash Prize Pool: A substantial PKR 305,000 cash prize pool is allocated, distributed among the teams qualifying from the four LAN events and the 17 online qualified teams.

Additional Rewards: Apart from cash prizes, teams will receive shields and souvenirs, adding to the overall recognition and motivation.

Upcoming Stages:

Group Stage: The next stage will involve the 128 qualified teams playing in 8 groups within their respective zones.

Second Stage of Intra Zones (Inter Conferences): 64 teams will emerge as winners from the group stage, advancing to the second stage of Intra Zones, representing the Inter Conferences.

The PUBG Mobile K2 Gamer Pakistan Universities Showdown 2023-24 is poised to showcase intense competition, bringing together the best university gaming talents from across the country. As the tournament progresses, it is anticipated to set new standards for university-level esports in Pakistan.
