Zong 4G Powers Pakistan’s Biggest PUBGM Tournament – Manhunt II

Zong, Pakistan’s leading information and technology innovation company, has once again pushed the boundaries of the country’s esports scene with the massive success of Zong Engage PUBGM Manhunt II—now officially recognized as Pakistan’s largest third-party PUBG Mobile tournament.

Held under Zong’s esports ecosystem Zong Engage, Manhunt II became a landmark event for the local gaming community. The semifinals and grand finals, livestreamed from November 8th to 10th across Zong’s official YouTube and Facebook channels, attracted thousands of viewers worldwide, showcasing the ever-growing enthusiasm for Pakistani esports.

Record-Breaking Participation

Manhunt II shattered previous engagement records with over 26,000 participants and 1,300+ registered teams. The event highlighted the rapid rise of PUBGM in Pakistan and reflected Zong’s continuing commitment to creating opportunities for young gamers through digital innovation.

The tournament brought emerging Pakistani PUBGM talent face-to-face with international esports giants, including teams from EWC 2025 and the PUBGM Super League CSA. After a highly competitive qualifying phase, seven prominent local teams—Valyrians Esports, Team Xotics, Aminz Esports, Demon Esports, R3gicide, SSP Uprising, and Viper Esports—advanced to join global heavyweights such as Earena, Horra Esports, ASI8, and Team Secret.

Across the three-day playoffs, Zong’s livestreams earned an impressive 235,000 views on YouTube.

A Global-Level Finals Showdown

The grand finals featured an intense lineup of 18 teams (9 international and 9 Pakistani), generating 390,000 views and trending worldwide. Defending champions ASI8 delivered a dramatic comeback on the final day, narrowly defeating Vietnam’s Team Flash by just six points to reclaim the title.

The event didn’t just focus on intense action. A live esports trivia segment added an interactive layer for fans at home. Participants stood a chance to win exclusive prizes, with three lucky viewers taking home Apple AirPods 4, sponsored by Mercantile.

Zong’s Vision for Pakistan’s Esports Future

Commenting on the achievement, Sajid Munir, Head of Marketing at Zong, said:
